Hallelujah

155

It hasn’t sunk in yet, but I have to share the good news.  We got our LOA today!!  Day 155 is the blessed day, and the Lord answered my prayer as of late, that we would get it is July. LOA means that Ch*na approves us to be adoptive parents of Ai Li.  There is little to stop us now!

What’s next?  Our agency believes we will travel in late August or early September.  We wait next for Travel Approval (TA) which takes 2-3 weeks and then arrange our flights and travel within a week or two (for those familiar with this process, we are an I-600 family, so this part of our wait is short).  It’s time to break out the suitcases and crib…. and make lots and lots of lists.

Our visa applications went in on Thursday, and we are faxing Koen’s birth certificate in today (new requirement for minors).  We have yet to decide about taking him, but will move forward as if we are.

We’re celebrating tonight with yummy Chinese food.  Thanks for your prayers.
