Tahoe Beach

On Thursday the kids and I ventured to the beach, but it was a rainy day. The kids enjoyed climbing on this huge fallen tree.

Friday evening the sun came out and we got to see across the lake for the first time. So beautiful!

I'm not used to seeing huge pinecones on a sandy beach!

Maybe she has a future in plumbing?

Today we road our bikes to this beautiful beach a few miles away. Look at the snow on the mountain and nice sandy beach. So weird to see snow and bikinis so close together!

Li Li's first "sand on the feet" experience in the US. She liked it!

Both kids were pretty quick at getting wet!

What the shirt says is true.

Climber Koen - he's having such a good time here.

Today was Keith’s day off.  We enjoyed a 6 mile bike ride (thanks to the Pratts for letting us use your bike trailer!) and stopped at sites along the way.  These pictures were taken from Kiva beach.  The kids were both quite wet by the time we were done.  It was warm and beautiful and wore Li Li out.  She was asleep within minutes of getting back in the trailer for the ride home.  I’m looking forward to being here for 5 more weeks!

Hi, I use Lightroom to do my editing and then a bit of sharpening and exposure stuff in the iphoto. It works great. Your kids look great and the beach is beautiful!
