Finally Festive

After spending almost a week in Oregon for Thanksgiving, we came home to business and realized that most everyone but us had decorated their homes for Christmas.  Many already had gifts under their tree.  Needless to say, I felt very behind until today.  On Sunday we finally had a chance to put our tree, stockings and lights up.  We also enjoyed making gingerbread houses with friends.  Then yesterday I did some online shopping and today some store shopping (poor Li Li followed me around for 4 hours!).  I feel a little less behind now.

Li Li enjoyed decorating her house, and eating candy too.

Koen did more eating than decorating!

4 crazy kids and their gingerbread creations.

Li Li did a great job decorating.

You can see in that last picture that Li Li has a rash of some sort.  She had the early signs of a col last week, which cleared up and then two days later she had this terrible rash with red blotches and some raised areas.  When she first woke up from nap or in the morning, it would be worse, and then clear up.  The doc said it is very unlikely that it is contagious.  5 days later she still has a bit on her face and belly, but it’s much better.
