Smiles and Surgeries

Tomorrow is surgery #2 for 2016.  I’ll have my gallbladder removed in the morning.  Hoping this is a good decision and that I’ll be able to enjoy eating fats again in the future.

And today is the first day of Chinese New Year!  Happy Chinese New Year to all our friends and family!  Our two China kiddos dressed in the Chinese garb that would fit them (for Micah – just a hat).

CNY-Li-Li Micah CNYOn Sunday Li Li competed at a huge gym meet in Tacoma and came in first in her age group/level and session.  Good confidence builder for her.  She didn’t make any major mistakes either.

Li-Li-First-All-AroundAnd because I love my big boy too and am so thankful for the wonderful big brother he is to both his siblings, here’s my big 9.5 year old, Koen:

And because this little one is so much fun – we’re completely used to his new smile and enjoying seeing it a lot.  Sleep has been better the last few days – Praise the Lord!!IMG_6237
